DEDRYCK BOYATA looks like he’s on his way out of Celtic Park this summer. After his agent fell out with Brendan Rodgers in the summer, it looks like nothing has changed and the Belgian will move on after this campaign.
Speaking in this weeks Celtic View, the defender has opened up about another man leaving Parkhead after he and his team-mates had to deal with Brendan Rodgers’ hasty Celtic exit and the immediate aftermath.
The defender spoke of the shock in the dressing room after it was announced Brendan had moved on early on Tuesday morning.
“The change of management at the club was a bit of a shock at first” Boyata told the View.
“I think everyone in the dressing room felt that, but we move on with a new top-quality manager now”
“Things haven’t changed on our side, and we’re still as determined as before to win more trophies before the end of the season”
Boyata had a lot of heat at the start of the season for trying to push for a move away at the start of the season.
Ironically, Brendan Rodgers blocked the defender’s move to the Premier League.
Most Celtic fans have accepted Boyata is away, but also believe he is still giving his all for the team while he’s here.
