Pictured – New Striker Bayo Makes Low Key Celtic Debut

Vakoun Bayo got his first run out in the Hoops on Monday afternoon at Cappielow with the Celtic Reserves.

Bayo lined up alongside the likes of Armstrong Oko-Flex, Scott Allan and even Marvin Compper as the bhoys ran out 4-1 winners against Falkirk.

Bayo lasted an hour before being replaced by Australian Leo Mazis and acquitted himself well.

The frontman failed to find the back of the net but that’s expected when you consider Bayo’s last professional game was over two months ago.

Here are some of the pictures taken of the new Celtic striker in his Hoops.

The striker looked set to make his first team debut on Wednesday night against Hibernian. As he was stripped and ready for action, an injury to Emilio Izaguirre meant the player had to take his seat back on the bench so Hayes could replace the Honduran.

Today’s game will be another step closer to a first-team appearance for Celtic’s new man. What’s for sure is the player will not be part of the squad versus Valencia as he was not registered for the competition.
