John Guidetti has been taken to hospital as a precautionary measure after injuring his foot in a training session with the Sweden U21 side.

The striker who signed for Celtic last week will find out later today the extent of his injury that could see him not only miss out on Sweden’s next game but stop him from making his home debut for Celtic this weekend against Aberdeen.

The Swedish U21 staff and Celtic will be holding their breath until they no more. The player is currently undergoing an x-ray.

Hopefully it is just something minor.
