BT Sports Presenter Darrell Currie has hailed Celtic as they get set to land Timothy Weah from PSG.

The pundit has got Celtic fans excited by declaring he has spoken to several people who have seen Timothy play and believe his potential is massive.

Celtic have been hot on the 18-year-old’s heels since December with PSG holding the deal back while they sorted out Weah’s next contract which he signed over the weekend.

The striker is now set to link up with Celtic in Dubai and meet his new teammates.

It’s not yet known the length of the Lon deal. It could be 18-months, or it could be six months with an option for another 12.

PSG rate the player so highly they gave Timothy a bumper new deal and have not put in an option to buy in the contract for Celtic, unlike the Edouard deal.

He certainly seems like an exciting signing.
