FILIP BENKOVIC is loving his time at Celtic and it’s safe to say he enjoyed the League Cup Final yesterday, even before the full time whistle!

The Celtic defender is incredibly good at his job but not many will know he also has a skilful side but it came through during the win against Aberdeen on Sunday.

Benkovic charged down the wing, received a pass before showing an incredible change of direction followed by a flicked pass to his teammate.

Outstanding.

Benkovic is on loan from Leicester City who acquired the player from Croatia Zagreb in the summer.

The Croatian under 21 has been a revelation for The Bhoys and struck up a partnership with Dedryck Boyata.

Filip certainly enjoyed the post match celebrations yesterday on the field and in the dressing room.

Celtic fans would love the player to stay beyond this season but it’s highly unlikely another deal could be done.

Let’s hope he can help us to a Treble Treble before he goes!
