Since Gary Hooper left last season Celtic have been lacking a real poachers instinct and all our strikers have struggled to find the net on a consistent basis. Many feel that we must invest in a new prolific striker in order to reach our potential but don’t bet on that happening once Peter Lawwell sees FC Magdeburg fans answer to an impotent strike force.
Yes, this happened a few years ago now but could it help the likes of Teemu Pukki and Amido Balde reach their potential in the coming season.
Wonder if the Green Brigade would be up for it.
