You’ve Ruined It – Ibrox Legend Attacks Board Over Celtic Decision

BARRY FERGUSON believes the Ibrox board have ruined the atmosphere at Ibrox for Glasgow Derby games by cutting Celtic’s allocation from 8,000 to 800 in a petty move by a pandering board.

Celtic’s visits to Ibrox have been so successful under Brendan Rodgers the mere sight of a whole stand taken up by partying Celtic fans was too much for some and to deflect from their own failings they cut Celtic’s allocation.

Celtic had no choice but to reciprocate and claimed they were disappointed at the move which was done with zero consultation.

Former Ibrox man Ferguson believes the atmosphere will be lesser and the Ibrox players would prefer 8k Celtic fans in the building.

“I think it’ll ruin the atmosphere, honestly do.” told PLZ Soccer.

“I think if you ask any Rangers player that’s played in those games, that’s what it’s all about – knowing that stand’s full of Celtic fans and you’ve got three quarters of the stadium.

“I loved the fact that it was like that. It just created a great atmosphere for me.

“And it was the same at Celtic Park when Rangers got about 8,000 as well, so I don’t know what’s going on there.”

Maybe Barry didn’t mind it because his club got more joy at home against Celtic with this new club struggling – even with ten men!
