BRENDAN RODGERS has revealed that Tom Rogic has not travelled with the rest of the squad for tomorrow’s game against Salzburg.

Taking questions at his pre-match conference the Irishman said the midfielder had sustained a knock and would not be available but he would however be ready for Sunday’s game at St Johnstone.

Celtic go into the Salzburg game as underdogs with the Austrian team in great form and off the back of a semi-final appearance in the Europa League last term.

Celtic drew with the side back in 2014 under Ronny Deila and it will take a big effort from the bhoys to match or beat that score on the night.

Not having To  to call on is a major blow but it is a position in the squad where Celtic have numerous options so hopefully he won’t be missed too much.
