LEIGH GRIFFITHS looked like the happiest man at Celtic Park last night as he used what little time Brendan Rodgers gave him on the night to make maximum impact.
The striker has just signed a new four-year deal with the club after netting his 100th Celtic goal against Suduva last month.

The striker has played second fiddle to a number of strikers during his time at Celtic Park. Leigh was famously benched for John Guidetti who would fizzle out under Ronny Deila and Leigh would take control.
After that Dembele, who can be world class on his day was the man in his way.
Now that Dembele has departed and there are only two strikers at the club right now in Leigh and Eddy – it’s the best chance the Scot has of convincing Rodgers he’s the guy.
With time running out on a more than frustrating night at Celtic Park it was Leigh’s instincts that anticipated a brilliant knockdown as he bagged the winner.
During the celebration, he proclaimed he was ‘F***ing number one’ and he explained the reason for his Parkhead antics.
“There was a lot of frustration in the celebration. It’s a big weight off my mind.
“I’ve done it for years though. I don’t know why people keep doubting me and say I can’t score goals in the big occasion.
I’ve done it in the Champions League, the Europa League, the League Cup, the Scottish Cup and the league.
“There are still people doubting me and saying I can’t do this and that. But I keep shutting people up.
“It’s frustrating when people say ‘he can’t do this or that’.
“Ultimately, it’s about getting three points for the team and that’s what I’m good at. I want to be No1 striker here – no doubt about it.”
