Priceless – Celtic Fan Points Out Ibrox Fans Stupidity After Derby Defeat

We’re on day four of the aftermath of The Rangers fans coming to Celtic Park believing they were coming to thump our bhoys only to be well and truly put in their place.

A mixture of their excessive whining and the face it’s the international break means we can all just bask in the glory of their pain just a little bit longer.

Some Gers fans are pointing out Celtic did a lap of honour after beating their side with the party line ‘Imagine doing a lap of honour for beat a six-year-old club’ – the Ibrox loyal referring to the Celtic players clapping the fans as they partied in the stands.

Of course, we welcome that party line for two reasons.

  1. Celtic always clap their fans off the field win, lose or draw at Celtic Park.
  2. They are admitting to being a six-year-old club (kinda).

Their fans were absolutely raging having to be kept in for safety reasons after the result and watch the unfolding party and ridicule at their expense.

That was funny enough for us until one fan online pointed out that not only did their Chairman make this possible, they all signed a petition to make this exact scenario happen.

Until this season, Celtic have always given The Rangers 7500 seats to come to Celtic Park and watch their ‘Six-year-old club’ as they kindly put it.

However, Dave King cutting the allocation for Celtic fans at Ibrox prompted the club to reciprocate with no other alternative.

This manufacture the situation where the police had to step in because they were made to watch Celtic and in-particular Leigh Griffiths and Scott Brown celebrate right in front of them.

What a beautiful Sunday it was.
