CRAIG LEVEIN has told Chris Sutton he should regret his comments about Kyle Lafferty after the former Celtic man branded the striker a ‘ticking time bomb’.
The Hearts manager took offence to someone talking negatively about his player – the hypocrisy dripping off him when last season he had a very malicious and targeted attack on Scott Brown.
Speaking about Sutton’s comments, Levein said: “I’m sure Chris will regret that.
“I think it was just a little bit silly. I don’t want to get involved much more, other than to say that.
“Chris is a decent guy and I’m sure he maybe regrets saying that. My view is that, when he looks at it again, he will think it was a wee bit silly to get involved.”
Levein is not the most self aware person and you can be sure Chris will return fire before too long.
