Reports down south suggest Celtic are weighing up a loan move for Scott McTominay.

Celtic are about to lose Stuart Armstrong to Southampton  this week with the player agreeing personal terms with the St Mary’s side.

With Celtic’s fighting on four fronts this season, the Celtic manager is conscious he will need as much quality reinforcements as he can to make sure they can compete on all fronts.

According to the Scotsman, Celtic are considering a move for the United star who is looking to gain more experience next term.

However, there is a number of options for Celtic they can pursue.

John McGinn from Hibernian seems like the obvious choice, another Scottish player who could come in and do well for Celtic.

McGinn would also be a permanent transfer, rather than Celtic just having McTominay for a season.
