Virgil van Dijk is ready to take his place in history on Saturday night when his Liverpool side go up against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
The former Celtic defender will be tasked with keeping out Ronaldo and co and become the first former Celtic star since Henrik Larsson to win the big one after leaving the club.

Celtic purchased The Dutchman for under £2million and sold him for a record £12million – also reaping the benefits of a sell-on fee when’s Liverpool made him the most expensive defender in history.
Another former Celt, Andy Robertson will also take his place in the Liverpool side. Let go by the club at youth level, as we’ve seen in the past few weeks his love for Celtic has not finished since leaving Scotland.
