ERIK SVIATCHENKO has found himself in a tight title race that’s seen his loan side knocked off the top of the Danish Superliga on goal difference after the latest round of fixtures.
After suffering defeat to their title rivals Brondby last week, FC Midtjylland got back to winning ways against Silkeborg on Monday evening but it wasn’t enough to see them hit the summit.
Brondby are ahead in the title race by just THREE goals with both clubs on 56 points – 7 points ahead of third place.
Erik has only suffered one defeat since slotting back into his old side – on the whole the players contribution has been very positive and if Midtjylland do end up winning the league – Erik will have played a massive part in their success.
