Brendan Rodgers has laid out his plans for the next fortnight with regards to new recruits.
The Irishman seems certain there will be movement on targets he would like to see at a Celtic Park.
“For us, it’s all about trying to get the quality and not necessarily about numbers. It’s about trying to get in the players who can make a difference for us.
“But we’re calm. The recruitment department are working very hard behind the scenes in terms of identifying the right types who can make a difference for us, not just for this now but going forward.”
Calmness is not something some of the Celtic support are known for. Brendan knows there’s a clamour in our support to see signings but won’t sign anyone just for the sake of it.
There was a window not so long ago when we seen Colin Kazim-Richards and Carlton Cole. Two signings that appeased fans need for new faces but done very little.
Patience is a virtue.
