CHRIS SUTTON believes Moussa Dembele is off as soon as January after the player has sat out a number of games for no reason.

The former Celtic frontman is baffled by the Frenchman’s exclusion in recent weeks and can only put it down to one thing – an impending transfer.

Speaking to BT Sport, Chris asked the question –

“When is the last time Dembele played?”

“When you’re a manager you always have to start your best XI”

When the former number nine was pressed on the issue and asked if he thinks Dembele will be off in January he replied: “I think so”.

Moussa has been injured but has been at full fitness for a number of weeks but hasn’t played with Edouard and Griffiths getting the nod.

Edouard seeing more game time after his hattrick a few weeks back but with the window opening, perhaps there is more to this than just rotating strikers.
