Celtic On The Brink Of Landing New Striker

REPORTS tonight in France suggest Celtic are on the verge of a season long loan move for young striker Odsonne Edouard with a view to a permanent deal.

The France under 19 star who spent last season on-loan to Toulouse is close to agreeing terms that will see him make the switch to the Hoops, much to the delight of Brendan Rodgers.

The Celtic manager spoke of bringing in another striker to deputise in the absence of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.

With just over 24 hours to go until the transfer window closes it looks like he has got at least one more target through the door with Celtic still working on another.

Odsonne is said to be sold on the club because of its growing reputation as a place where young talent can shine.

UEFA rules mean he could play against parent club PSG, much like Patrick Roberts did last season against City
