Former Celt Retires Prematurely

FORMER Celtic player Evander Sno has hung up his boots after a torrid time on and off the field over the past five years.

The midfielder who left Celtic back in 2008 has left RKC Waalwijk by mutual consent after a third spell at the club.

Evander, who was signed by Gordon Strachan has had a tough time of it. A heart condition saw him have TWO heart attacks on the field and lately he was embroiled in a court case where he was on trial for attempted murder.

Sno, 30, was cleared of attempted murder in April following the lengthy court case but it has all taken its toll on the two-time SPL Champion and Scottish Cup winner.

Evander now looks to the future away from the pitch and we wish him all the best.
