Celtic will bring their pre-season to a close on Saturday night when they face Saudi side Al-Ahli in the third-place play-off of the Como Cup.

Where to watch?
Kick-off is at 7:30pm at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in Italy, and the game will be broadcast live on Celtic TV.
Final improvements
Brendan Rodgers’ side are coming off the back of a bruising 5-1 defeat to Ajax, which brought the team crashing back down to earth after more encouraging performances against Newcastle and Sporting Lisbon.
With the League opener against St Mirren just around the corner and crucial Champions League qualifiers to follow, this will be the last chance to tighten things up before things get serious.
Al-Ahli What to Expect
Al-Ahli will be a serious test for the Hoops. The Saudi Pro League side have some great players in the squad, including Riyad Mahrez, Franck Kessié, Allan Saint-Maximin and former Celtic target Ivan Toney. It won’t be an easy game, but similarly to the Ajax game it will offer a valuable measure of where this Celtic squad really stands.
Celtic Squad
Benjamin Nygren has been one of the bright sparks in recent games and is expected to feature again. Kieran Tierney continues his reintegration into the squad with the left-back looking like he never left. Celtic fans will be keen to see new signing Shin Yamada after a registration issue stopped him from featuring in Thursday’s game against Ajax, he is expected available for the game tonight.
Injuries and departures have limited Brendan Rodgers’ attacking options, so the likes of Yang and Maeda will likely feature again on the wings with Adam Idah likely to start through the middle.
With fans desperate to see new signings bedded in and confidence restored after the Ajax humbling, this game will be a great test for this Celtic team.
