Tierney Debut: Celtic’s Confirmed Starting XI for Behind-Closed-Doors Friendly

Kieran Tierney will make his long-awaited second debut for Celtic as Brendan Rodgers’ side take on Estrela da Amadora in a behind-closed-doors friendly in Portugal this morning.

The Scotland international returns to the starting line-up as part of a strong side that also sees Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate included from the off. Australian winger Marco Tilio is handed a start as he looks to impress the manager, while Callum Osmand is given his first start in a Celtic jersey following his move from Fulham. Reo Hatate is also in the l=starting line up.

The match, which is available to watch on Celtic TV, is part of the Hoops’ ongoing training camp in Portugal as they build fitness and cohesion ahead of the new season and upcoming Champions League qualifiers.

Kick off is at 11 am UK time, and it could see another debut.
