Celtic legend John Clark was laid to rest on Friday.

The funeral Mass at St Mary’s Chapel in Calton this afternoon was attended by a packed congregation, including current Celtic players and coaching staff, with Kieran Tierney, Callum Osmand and Ross Doohan joining the squad in paying their final respects.

Present too were familiar faces from across the footballing world, with club owner Dermot Desmond, Lisbon Lion Jim Craig.
Also among the congregation were ex-Celtic players Roy Keane and Ian Wright, while Neil Lennon and Scott Brown returned to honour the Celtic legend.
Celtic majority shareholder, Dermot Desmond, was also in attendance to pay his respects.
Rangers CEO Patrick Stewart represented his side to pay his respects to one of Scottish football’s icons.

Clark’s passing at the age of 84 marks the end of a remarkable seven decades that began with his debut in 1959 and reached its zenith in Lisbon in 1967. He played and coached at Celtic before becoming the kitman.
Celtic fans then gathered on the Celtic Way to pay their respects as the Lisbon Lion made one last journey through Parkhead.
Later, the Celtic players will head to Glasgow’s south side to face Queens Park as they kick off pre-season.
