New Celtic signing Benjamin Nygren couldn’t hide his amazement as he got his first proper look at Celtic Park after completing his move to the Scottish champions on Friday.

The Swedish international has joined the Hoops in a £1.7m switch from FC Nordsjaelland, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal.
The 23-year-old arrives with a growing reputation after bagging 15 goals in Denmark last season and netting twice in his first four caps for Sweden.
But even for a player who’s experienced European football and earned senior international recognition, the sight of Celtic’s famous stadium left him genuinely stunned.
In footage shared by the club on TikTok, Nygren was shown around the ground for the first time on Friday afternoon.
When taken into the home dressing room, the very place he’ll soon be sharing with his new teammates, he couldn’t hold back his excitement.
“Wow! Look at this! Amazing. Wow,” he said, taking in the surroundings.

Nygren’s signing has already gone down well with the support, and his enthusiastic reaction will only strengthen that connection. A creative, forward-thinking player with plenty of energy and technical ability, he’s been brought in to strengthen Celtic’s attacking options as they prepare for a demanding campaign at home and in Europe.
He’ll be part of Brendan Rodgers’ side when they return to action for pre-season, with a packed schedule of friendlies on the horizon and Champions League qualifiers looming in August.
