Celtic are still keeping an eye on Bojan Miovski’s situation, but any move for the striker this summer is far from guaranteed. The North Macedonian international had a tough first season in Spain with Girona, and while reports have linked the Hoops with a possible bid, there’s no sign of an imminent deal.
Miovski left Aberdeen last summer in a €4.7 million transfer to Girona. The La Liga side brought him in to replace top scorer Artem Dovbyk, but things didn’t go to plan.

Scott Burns of the Daily Record, known for regular updates on Scottish football transfers, has offered insight into Miovski’s situation. He has a consistent record reporting on Celtic transfer business.
Girona avoided relegation by a narrow margin, finishing 16th, and are expected to make big changes this summer. Miovski is among the players they’re open to moving on, especially as his market value has dropped significantly since his arrival.
Burns said: (RecordSport), “There was always more interest shown in Miovski from the Celtic side rather than Rangers.
“I would think Rangers would be less likely now.
“I know that Miovski wants to stay and fight for his place at Girona.
“I would be surprised if he came back to Scotland.”
Miovski has not ruled out a return to Scottish football, and a comeback to Aberdeen has also been mentioned. He scored 44 goals in 98 games during his time at Pittodrie and was one of the league’s most consistent strikers.
Celtic, meanwhile, are still expected to bring in at least one more forward this summer, even after Callum Osmond’s impending arrival.

While Miovski remains a name of interest, any serious move would depend on both Girona’s stance and whether Brendan Rodgers believes he fits the style and level required at Parkhead.
For now, it looks like Miovski is more focused on proving himself in Spain, but as the transfer window moves on, things can change quickly.
