Former Liverpool, Leeds, and Manchester City striker Robbie Fowler has hit back at claims that this could be the most tedious treble of all time for Celtic.

However, Fowler, who is no stranger to success in his career having won the UEFA Cup in 2001, hit back in style in a rare defence from the Englishman.
Every club, everywhere would take a tedious treble every season .

A spot-on analysis from Fowler: Celtic can only beat whoever is in front of them. It is not the Hoops’ fault that the competition in Scotland is failing to stop consistent trebles.
There is no support in the English Premier League coming around the corner anytime soon, and whether the Celtic support would welcome this remains to be seen. But Celtic’s success has led some to attempt to downplay their achievements instead of celebrating them.

It has been a season to remember, but having suffered four league defeats this season, the most since the 2020/21 campaign, Celtic have had moments where the opposition in Scotland have caused them problems—something which makes the ‘tedious treble’ comments laughable.
