Celtic Star Shares Surprise Passion Away from Football

Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has revealed a surprise passion that has caught the attention, the US defender is an avid fan of building LEGO sets in his free time.

While it might not be the hobby you would immediately expect from a centre-back, it’s one that Carter-Vickers takes great pride in.

Known for his composure and focus on the pitch, it seems Carter-Vickers has found a way to channel that same level of concentration into something far more relaxing off it.

Carter-Vickers said: (GOAL), “I’ve had to streamline it. I’ve probably built most of the big sets. There was a period where I was just buying everything but now they’re in boxes back home just sitting there.

“Someday, when I have a place I’m going to be living for a while, I’ll build a display board or something.

“I’m a chill guy. I’m quite aware that I look quite stern or angry or annoyed at something, but most of the time. I’m pretty chill. I’m just trying to enjoy life. I just find it quite relaxing.

I’ll throw something on the iPad and just sit there and start building. I quite like that little sense of accomplishment you get when you finish it.”

What’s even more interesting is the defender’s impressive collection of football stadium LEGO sets. Carter-Vickers has already built some of the biggest and most iconic stadiums in the world, including Old Trafford, the Santiago Bernabéu, and Camp Nou.

It’s clear that his passion for football goes beyond playing, as he carefully builds LEGO versions of famous stadiums. However, one important stadium is missing from his collection: Celtic Park. Since there isn’t an official Celtic Park LEGO set yet, Carter-Vickers would likely be one of the first to buy it if LEGO ever makes one.

It’s great to see a player like Carter-Vickers enjoy such a simple and relaxing hobby. With his focus and time, it’s no surprise he enjoys the small wins of building a LEGO set.

Given his love for Celtic and football stadiums, we can imagine he’d really appreciate a Celtic Park set if it’s released soon. Do your thing, LEGO, if you’re reading.
