Brendan Rodgers has addressed Nicolas Kuhn’s injury setback, confirming he picked up a knock during warm-up ahead of tonight’s game against Dundee United, with Yang Hyun-jun stepping in as a late replacement in the starting XI.
With no update on the type of injury Kuhn had suffered pre-match, Rodgers addressed where the injury is; however, he wasn’t quite as sure how long the German could be out.
He said: (Celtic TV),”He felt something at the top of his thigh, which was a shame, but we’ll have to see what that is and how it shows up tomorrow.”

An injury to Kuhn will certainly speed up Celtic’s pursuit of a new winger this month, with James Forrest currently out injured.
Yang is now first choice on the right-hand side; however, the South Korean has failed to really make the most of his first-team opportunities.
A new winger is likely to not only provide competition but also ensure that if the Hoops face such injury setbacks, they can deal with it without feeling like there is a significant drop-off in quality.
