Brendan Rodgers Named Premiership Manager of the Month for September

Congratulations are in order for Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, who has been awarded the Scottish Premiership Glenโ€™s Manager of the Month for September.

Rodgers guided Celtic to a flawless run during the month, with the Hoops collecting all nine points on offer, scoring 11 goals and conceding none in the process.

Celtic’s impressive form was highlighted by a dominant 3-0 victory over Rangers in the Glasgow derby, a commanding 6-0 win away at St Johnstone, and a comfortable 2-0 triumph against Hearts.

Rodgers’ side now sit at the top of the league table for the second consecutive month, edging ahead of Aberdeen on goal difference. With Celtic flying high, Rodgers will look to carry this momentum forward as the team continues to chase both domestic and European success this season.

Their European run got off to a great start with a 5-1 over Bratislava, but it hit quite the speed bump when the Hoops travelled to Germany to face Borussia Dortmund.

He’s come under some criticism for the way he set up his team in Germany, but the manager himself said he had no regrets.

Nevertheless, the league form from Celtic this season has been nothing short of sensational. Yet to concede a goal, the Hoops have scored 20 goals in their first six games.
