Celtic striker Adam Idah has lifted the lid on his early season rustiness, admitting that the lack of training intensity at Norwich meant he wasn’t fully up to speed when he permanently joined the Hoops in mid-August.

The Irishman has taken a while to get up and running since returning to Glasgow.
In his first few games back with the Bhoys, he looked off it, showing a poor first touch and failing to score.
Over the past couple of games, though, he has wiped away the cobwebs, scoring thrice.
Idah came off the bench to bag in the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday before hitting a quickfire double against Falkirk to turn the tide in the recent league cup quarter-final tie.
He is finding his feet after a slow start to the campaign.
The 23-year-old was asked if he is currently playing catch-up on fitness with his teammates.
“Yeah, one hundred percent,” he said (Glasgow Times).
“Look, I didn’t do much in pre-season. Before anyone jumps on that, that wasn’t me chucking it or anything, it was just how we trained down at Norwich.
“Obviously it’s not as intense down there as it is here, we’re at big clubs and we want to be on it.
“So yeah, when I first came I was probably a week behind, and now I’m getting the minutes in I’m starting to get goals.
“I feel good now, and I’m probably not far behind. I just need to keep sticking with it and I’ll get there.”
Idah will share minutes with Kyogo Furuhashi up top for Celtic this term.
Brendan Rodgers doesn’t have an out-and-out number-one striker. Instead, he will utilise the pair’s attributes based on the schedule and type of opponent the Hoops are playing.
Although they are vying with each other for minutes, Idah and Kyogo’s relationship couldn’t be better.
The duo help each other improve and learn from each other every day.
Their goals will be equally crucial for Celtic this season.
