Some brilliant footage of Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has emerged from Liam Scales’ opening goal in the Hoops’ 5-1 win over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday night.

The Bhoys couldn’t have started their UEFA Champions League campaign any better, putting in a terrific display on matchday one.
To a man, the Celts were outstanding and can take great encouragement from the midweek win.
Rodgers’ men started the game on the front foot, piling some early pressure on the visitors. It finally took its toll 17 minutes in.
Arne Engels whipped a sensational corner into the box. Scales nodded the ball goalwards and the power proved too much for Dominik Takac in the Slovan goal.
A few days on, an excellent clip of the goal has emerged, which shows Rodgers’ reaction to Engels’ teasing delivery.
Indeed, the Parkhead manager can be visibly seen muttering ‘what a ball’ as the midfielder whipped the corner onto the head of Scales:
"What a ball"

Rodgers couldn’t have asked his players to make a better start to the Champions League.
Celtic were outstanding on Wednesday and will look to build on their matchday one triumph in upcoming clashes against Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta.
Each match will be arduous but based on current form, the Bhoys have the right to go into them feeling positive.
