After a challenging tenure at Fleetwood, where he experienced both a remarkable FA Cup run and the disappointment of a league struggle leading to his dismissal, Brown has found his stride back in Scotland.

Currently, Ayr United sits at the top of the league table, boasting an impressive record of four wins and one draw from their first five games, with a goal difference of +10, having scored 13 and conceded just three. The side have been playing good, attacking football as well.

The Scottish Championship has been extremely competitive over the past few years, and this season is no exception. With Falkirk trailing just a point behind and holding a game in hand, and Livingston also making a strong showing in third place, the battle for promotion promises to be fiercely contested. Just a few points separated the teams fighting for promotion last year.

It’s nice to see Broony doing well in the dugout, and it’s good he’s doing so in Scotland.

It will be interesting to see how far the former Celtic captain can take the side this year. If all goes well, he could be making a few visits to Parkhead next year.
