Celtic’s record transfer signing, Arne Engels, starts this afternoon’s Glasgow Derby on the bench.
Engels, who joined on deadline day for a reported £11 million, is likely to play a role in the second half.
The excitement surrounding his signing, given his age of just 20 and the substantial fee Celtic paid, suggests that he could develop into a standout player in the coming years.

Clement had previously spoken very highly of Engels, with the pair having worked together at Club Brugge.
He said: (Ibrox Meltdowns), “Arne is one of the most exciting young players I have ever seen. He will be world-class one day, and I hope I never have to play against him.”
Ironically, this has come true, as Engels is set to face Clement this afternoon.
Clement, more than anyone, will know what Engels is capable of and will be concerned that Celtic’s record signing might come back to haunt him at Celtic Park.
