He’s been linked to the move for a few weeks now, with the deal taking a few weeks to complete. Finally, it’s a done deal and he’s set for some minutes at a decent level.
Oluwayemi has been part of Celtic’s first-team training for a few years now and has featured on the bench in some matches. Last season, he spent some time with Admira Wacker in Austria, where Celtic has a developmental partnership, gaining some match experience.
This summer, he also played in the second half of Celtic’s first pre-season friendly against Ayr United at Somerset Park. The loan to Dunfermline Athletic marks the next step in Oluwayemi’s career, providing him with an excellent opportunity to develop his skills in a competitive league.
