Celtic goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi is on the brink of joining Dunfermline Athletic on a loan deal, as reported by The Courier.

The Scottish Championship club is nearing an agreement to secure the services of the 21-year-old for the upcoming season.
Oluwayemi, who is looking to accumulate significant playing time, sees the move to Dunfermline as a valuable opportunity to develop further. Dunfermline’s coach, James McPake, has been pursuing the young goalkeeper for several weeks, with links emerging last month.
Having been part of Celtic’s pre-season tour in the United States, where he played against Ayr United and Queens Park, Oluwayemi spent the previous season on loan at FC Admira Wacker. Unfortunately, his time there was marred by injuries.
The loan to Dunfermline is seen as a crucial step for Oluwayemi’s growth, providing him with a chance to establish himself at a good competitive level and return to Celtic more prepared for future challenges.
