Kris Boyd Makes Celtic Prediction Which Has Left Him Heartbroken

Boyd has pointed to the stability at Celtic contrasted with the turmoil at Rangers as the deciding factor for his prediction this season.

Last year, Boyd was confident that manager Phil Clement would lead Rangers to the title, while Celtic lifted the trophy, with an eight-point margin in the league.

He even said that the treble was on for Rangers last season But, despite his expert analysis, Celtic won the league and Scottish Cup, leaving Rangers with the League Cup and the 3-3 win at Ibrox to celebrate.

In his column for The Sun, Boyd expressed a heavy heart in admitting the likelihood of Celtic’s success: “IT breaks my heart to say this, but I think it’s CERTAIN Celtic will be champions again this season. Rangers are facing too much chaos at Ibrox right now to make me think they can win the league.”

Despite his prediction, there’s an undercurrent of scepticism about Boyd’s motives among some fans, who suspect he might be setting a low bar for Rangers only to later praise them excessively should they outperform expectations. No doubt we’ll see this during his exceptional insight on Sky Sports throughout the season.
