The SPFL have this morning announced the Scottish Premiership fixtures for the upcoming 2024/25 season as Celtic begin their hunt for a 55th league crown.

The Hoops kick off their title defence on Sunday the 4th of August at 4.30 pm. Kilmarnock are the visitors on Flag Day before the champions make subsequent trips to Hibs and St. Mirren in the two following weekends.
The first Glasgow derby of the campaign is set for the 31st of August at Celtic Park, and it puts an end to a busy opening few weeks of the season for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Around the festive period, the Bhoys have a packed schedule. They play Dundee United at Tannadice on the 21st of December before facing Motherwell on Boxing Day. For the first time in what feels like an age, the Hoops are at home the day after Christmas.
The New Year derby will be on the 2nd of January and with no winter break this season, the Celts will play throughout the first month of 2025.
The first 33 rounds of Premiership fixtures are then rounded off on the 12th of April when St. Johnstone come to Glasgow’s east end.
With all the league fixtures now confirmed, Celtic fans look forward to what is set to be another thrilling year following the Hoops.
