Countless celebrities, singers, and big-name actors are well-known supporters of Celtic, one being Martin Compston.
The Greenock native has starred in several TV dramas and movies throughout the years and his love for the Hoops is undying.

A disciple of football, Compston is a regular player in UNICEF’s annual Soccer Aid game, and this year was no different.
In the World XI team on Sunday night, he lined up alongside the likes of Eden Hazard, Usain Bolt, Peter Cech, Roberto Carlos, Alessandro del Piero, and Patrice Evra to name but a few.
On his back during the game, Compston wore the number 67, in honour of the Lisbon Lions.
Pre-match in the dressing room, former Celt Robbie Keane, who was part of the coaching team for the World XI, gave a nod to the Hoops when he read Compston’s name on the team sheet, dubbing him the ‘Celtic Cafu’:

England did run out 6-3 winners in the end, but a wealth of funds were raised for charity.
In 2025, Compston will undoubtedly play in Soccer Aid once more, and perhaps it won’t be surprising to see Joe Hart involved a year into his retirement.
