Steve Clarke has finalised his Scotland squad for Euro 2024, with Celtic’s James Forrest securing his place after a strong finish to the domestic season, according to SunSport.

Despite not featuring in the national team setup since the 2021 European Championships, Forrest has earned his spot following a resurgence in form towards the end of the club campaign.
Joining him on the trip to Germany will be fellow Celtic teammates Callum McGregor, Greg Taylor, and Anthony Ralston.
This inclusion comes after Clarke initially named a provisional 28-man squad, from which he has made exclusions of Rangrs’ John Souttar and veteran goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
Forrest’s late-season performances appear to have decisively influenced Clarke’s decision, underscoring the winger’s experience and timely return to form as crucial assets for the national team.
He gives Clarke a plan B on the wing, with the manager clearly looking at exercising this, calling up Lewis Morgan on Thursday, who also plays on the wing.
