John Lundstram’s departure from Rangers has been marked by a rather unconventional farewell, as the midfielder chose to highlight moments in his final clip that left Celtic fans laughing and Rangers fans raging.

Lundstram, whose contract with the Light Blues was not renewed, included footage of a red card challenge against Celtic’s Alistair Johnston, a move that not only left his team a man down but followed his own goal, which had already set Rangers back by two in a crucial match at Parkhead.
There was no footage of that league-winning goal, though.
John Lundstram – 🤢🤢🤢
Goodbye/Highlight video on his Instagram actually has the 🟥 tackle (along with his general form) that helped cost us a title

The Scouser was part of a broader exodus at Ibrox this summer, joining Jon McLaughlin, Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack, and Kemar Roofe in exiting the club. In his farewell message on Instagram, Lundstram expressed regret over his unfulfilled objectives, particularly his failure to win a league title, stating, “It will always pain me that I didn’t achieve what I came up here to do and win a league title.”
This admission, coupled with the choice to include such a personally disappointing moment in his farewell video, is quite humorous for Celtic fans.
