During the 2023/24 season, the SPFL saw a total of 5,151,522 people attend games across all its competitions, marking the highest attendance in the league’s history.

This figure surpasses the previous record of 5,087,400 set in the 2022/23 season, the first time attendance had ever crossed the five million mark in the SPFL era. [Football Scotland]

Celtic commonly sell out their home games, with tickets hard to come across no matter the opponent. When Celtic are on the road, away tickets are like gold dust, especially at stadiums that have cut the away allocations.

Celtic will sell out their season tickets again this season, boasting a 99% renewal rate this time last year.

It’s great to see attendance numbers growing across the leagues, long may the rise of the SPFL continue, it can only mean good news for all clubs in the divisions.
