Brendan Rodgers rightly said that Adam Idah has catalysed much of Celtic’s success this season following his side’s 1-0 Scottish Cup victory over Rangers on Saturday.
A winter arrival from English Championship outfit Norwich City, the centre-forward was signed to very little fanfare.

Immediately, though, he made a notable impact in Glasgow, scoring several crucial goals in his maiden few appearances in green and white.
His knack for finding the back of the net at pivotal moments served him well throughout his loan spell.
Indeed, Idah’s strikes at Fir Park, Easter Road, Ibrox, Rugby Park, and most recently Hampden, have ensured his status as a firm favourite among the Parkhead faithful.
Rodgers admitted after his last-minute winner on Saturday that he wants to keep him at Celtic beyond the summer and judging by some of his comments, it appears the 23-year-old wouldn’t be averse to such a happening.
Speaking after the Scottish Cup final, Idah admitted that he is loved much more in Glasgow than he is at Carrow Road, where he has become somewhat of a scapegoat.
He said: (RecordSport) “I probably wasn’t enjoying my football down south. I was a scapegoat and it’s tough when you’re in there.
“The love I’ve had here (Celtic) has been amazing. I’m loving it here. I probably didn’t expect it to be as good as what it was. This has really changed my career around.
“I’ve come up here and the players, the staff, the fans, they’ve all welcomed me in, and they’ve given me that confidence and belief to enjoy playing football again.
“I’ve been loving it here, but I am still contracted to Norwich. It’s not up to me. Football works in strange ways. I’ll have some time off now and see what happens.”
