Derek McInnes has indirectly called Celtic the best team in the league after the performance that was on display on Wednesday night.

Celtic sealed their Scottish Premiership title in emphatic style with a dominant 5-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, with the hosts unable to cope with the champions.
On a night when the championship trophy was secured, it was the quality of Celtic’s performance that also caught the eye.
The scoring opened with Adam Idah finding the net, setting the tone for what would be a relentless display of football. Daizen Maeda, James Forrest, and Matt O’Riley contributed to the tally.
Derek McInnes, the Kilmarnock manager, did not hold back in his commendation of Celtic’s performance. Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, McInnes highlighted the challenge his team faced: “Nobody’s done that to us this season. I think maybe just subconsciously the players are thinking the job’s done – when you’re playing against a team who have far more on it you can see that. I thought Celtic were terrific tonight in terms of their intensity and quality on the ball.
“Celtic had their tails up from early on and I thought they were very good. They would have been difficult to stop even if we were at our very, very best. We weren’t, clearly.”
That was one of Celtic’s best performances of the season, and what a time to peak with a Scottish Cup final just around the corner.
