IBROX cheerleader Kenny Miller continued his bizarre commentary in the Glasgow Derby this afternoon, with Miller lambasting the decision to send off John Lundstram.
Miller, who joined Sky Sports this season as a commentator following Ally McCoist’s departure to TNT Sports was not having any of the VAR review.
On commentary after Lundstrams challenged went to a VAR review Miller said: [Sky Sports],”He’s going to win the ball, Johnston plants his leg and he catches him. Every tackle like that cannot be a red card.
“See in real time, that’s never a red card. Never a red card. Now, looking at the still.”
After Collum reversed his initial decision in favour of sending off the Englishman, Miller reacted on commentary by saying, “You know what, the way the game is going now, that is not a red card. There’s no way that’s a red card.
“Every kick can’t be a red card. Alistair Johnston plants his foot in the way of where John Lundstram is going.”
The former Rangers striker certainly appeared to create division by questioning a clear red card challenge from Lundstram, doing himself no favours in showing any kind of impartiality on commentary.
Miller will rightly be criticised by supporters across the country for his bizarre rant, which simply makes him look like an Ibrox cheerleader rather than an ex-player who adds insight on commentary.
