Steven Naismith has made a U-turn in his recent remarks about Celtic being the “best team in the league”.

Just two months ago, he was saying the same about Rangers.
This change of stance comes in the aftermath of Celtic’s commanding 3-0 victory over Hearts, where the Hoops played the visitors off the park.
Naismith originally attributed the title of “best team in the league” to Rangers following their performance against his Hearts side [PLZ Soccer]. His recent admission to BBC Radio Scotland, however, praises Celtic’s ability to manage games effectively, especially when opponents fail to capitalise on their chances. “If you don’t take the chances, Celtic are the best team in the league and most experienced in managing that situation, and they did,” Naismith stated.
At least he’s found some sense in his words.
This acknowledgement comes at a crucial time as Celtic prepares for the upcoming derby against Rangers. With the league title nearly within reach, a victory in this match would all but secure the league title, effectively turning Naismith’s words into a prophetic reflection of the season’s outcome.
