Celtic defensive duo Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers enjoyed a day at the beach with their dogs on Sunday.
While they were by the sea, the pair would have likely had one eye on Rangers’ fixture with Ross County in Dingwall.
The Hoops’ title rivals eventually lost by three goals to two and suspiciously close to full-time, Johnston posted a picture of himself and Carter-Vickers on Instagram, captioned with ‘Decent backline we got here’:

Among the replies were several Celtic fans, but one name that stands out is Liel Abada. The winger, who scored his first MLS goal over the weekend, commented on the post.
He simply said ‘Like a lion bro’, and tagged Carter-Vickers. Whether he is referring to the centre-half colossus or his dog remains to be seen.

Although the end of his time in Glasgow was difficult, Abada still seems to have a friendship with his old teammates.
It was a shame he had to leave the club due to factors out of anyone’s control, but he departed with the best wishes of everyone.
