In his recent comments with Celtic TV, Rodgers highlighted the importance of consistency, acknowledging both the challenges and successes the team has faced so far.

One of the notable challenges for Celtic this season has been the integration of new, younger players, following the departure of several key members. Rodgers acknowledged the time it takes for these players to adapt to a new environment but also pointed out the promising emergence of some of them.

He specifically mentioned Liam Scales, who has made a significant impact since getting a run in the team, establishing himself as a starter in the heart of the defence. Additionally, Rodgers praised Paulo Bernardo, a young player who has recently settled in and started to show his potential. He has many fans talking about taking up the option to buy which is installed in the loan contract.

Rodgers said: “I think the consistency is the main one.

“I’ve been absolutely delighted to work with the players, and they’re good guys.

“We lost some very important players and obviously a lot of younger players who came in and who will take a bit of time to adapt, but some of those have started to emerge.

“If you look at the likes of Liam Scales – he’s not a young player, of course, but he came into the team and has done great.

“Paulo Bernardo in this last period has settled in very well, but that’s how long it can sometimes take for a young player coming from a different country, a different culture and different expectations so it’s been great to see them likes of them coming through.

“For me, it’s just that consistency and mentality and that will hopefully spread into the performance level.

“And we saw that in the last four games – we’ve been much more like what we’ve been.”
