Celtic winger Marco Tilio has hinted at a potential Celtic exit when speaking at Australia’s Asian Cup camp. Since signing for The Bhoys, Tilio has made just two appearances in a spell that so far, hasn’t worked out.
He was billed as one of the biggest talents in Aussie football before he came to Glasgow but that reputation hasn’t been lived up to thus far.
Despite this, the winger thinks being at Celtic has only made him better: “I think it’s only improved me as a player being in and around that every day”, he said (AAP). “But overall, I’d like to get more game time and whatever that looks like, we’ll see what happens.”

To hear that Tilio could potentially move on is unsurprising. Understandably, he wants game time and at Celtic, he isn’t getting that. Nicolas Kuhn’s potential arrival makes minutes for the 22-year-old even more unlikely.
What an exit for Tilio looks like remains to be seen as of yet. A permanent move away would seem unlikely because he only joined the Hoops over the summer.
On the other hand, though, given Brendan Rodgers’ previous comments about the player not coping with the demands of the Scottish game, a loan within the Premiership could be ideal. And if he does well whilst on a temporary spell elsewhere, he will undoubtedly get another opportunity to impress at Celtic when he returns.
