Kris Boyd Clearly Fears Green Brigade Impact

Kris Boyd has claimed that Celtic sent a SOS to the Green Brigade, after the news emerged that the club were allowing the fan group in after 13 games locked out of Celtic Park.

The former Ibrox man hasn’t had much to shout about over the past few seasons, but now that Celtic have hit a blip he’s coming out with this nonsense.

Writing in The Sun, he said, “IT has NOT been the season of goodwill to all at Celtic Park.

“Fans have been squabbling in the stands. The old cries of ‘Sack The Board’ have been heard again. New signings and old faces have been criticised.

“Even Santa Claus got jeered when he rocked up last Saturday.

“Things have got so bad they’ve even sent an SOS to the Green Brigade to return. What a U-turn that is — and they better start to behave.

“Something’s just not right at the moment. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but they need to arrest it before things spiral completely out of control.

“There really shouldn’t be any problems in Paradise. After all, they’re the reigning Premiership champions and Treble winners — although they’ve lost one of them — and are still two points clear at the top.”

Let’s face it, he’s fuming that the 12th man will be back for the Derby, which both sides so desperately want, and need, to win.

It was about time that the Green Brigade were allowed back into Parkhead, and had Celtic won against Killie and Hearts, I firmly believe that the fan group would’ve been welcomed back into the stands against Livingston.

Kris Boyd just put a few sentences together without really thinking about what he was writing and will probably be happy with the online reaction he’s received.
