It appears increasingly likely, almost to the point of confirmation by the club, that the Green Brigade will return to the stands this Saturday when Celtic faces Livingston. The Green Brigade has been absent for two months following a public disagreement with the club, which unfolded through various statements on social media.
During this period, several clandestine meetings were held between the club and the group, aiming to resolve the issues at hand. The club has consistently cited safety and behavioural concerns involving certain members of the Green Brigade as the reason for their suspension. Conversely, the Green Brigade has contended that the dispute stems from their stance on Palestine.

It seems that a resolution has been reached, with the Green Brigade’s season tickets being reactivated this week, signalling their return. This comes just two weeks before a highly anticipated full-house Glasgow derby, where the unique atmosphere and vocal support of Celtic Park are crucial — an ambience that many agree hasn’t been the same in the absence of the Green Brigade.
To mark their return, the group has announced a corteo, a march, from the CSA to the stadium on Saturday, highlighting the significance of this moment and their ongoing support for Celtic.
