The Unwanted Celtic Record Since Rodgers’ Return Continues

Celtic lost out by two goals to one against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park this afternoon. It was a poor Sunday performance from the Hoops who let Kilmarnock dominate them in the second half.

Supporters who made the journey along the M77 were left disappointed, and the loss kept up a vastly concerning Celtic record. Since Brendan Rodgers returned to the club, the Hoops have failed to win three matches in a row in all competitions.

Considering the Irishman came back in the summer and we are almost in the middle of December, this is hugely worrying. Consistency in terms of both results and performances is key to winning titles, but the champions haven’t found either this season.

Upcoming, however, are three home games in a row for the Celts. Feyenoord comes to town in the Champions League midweek before matches with Hearts and Livingston at Parkhead lie in wait.

Win all three and the feel-good factor could return to the club but at the minute, that seems far away.
