Rod Stewart’s One Finger Salute to the Green Brigade

Rod Stewart stuck the finger up to the Green Brigade on Saturday afternoon after being booed by the group in the way into the hospitality end of Celtic Park.

The group were there early on Saturday to welcome the team to the ground as their suspension continues .

The group made noise and set off pyro as they protested their suspension when Rod made his way up the Celtic Way.

There is previous between the Gb and Rod. The group once told him where to go in banner form after his comments online about Boris Johnson.

There appears to be no love lost there and Rod wasn’t one for ignoring the jeers as he entered Celtic Park.

Not Rod’s finest moment.

The Green Brigade section is again being populated by fans who have been given tickets for free by the club. The announcement was made before the Aberdeen game that Celtic were giving tickets to fans who couldn’t otherwise get to games.

The GB and Club dispute rumbles on, but we hope for a positive conclusion in the weeks to come.
